Well I agree generally over here on the island, but if trump loses there are crazies like that fat trumpist lady (Crisp) in Palm Bay who might show up at Dem headquarters, or Starbucks, or the Library maybe - wherever she thinks Democrats might be found. There are people, even around here, who literally are not going to be able to mentally handle a trump loss.

If Joe loses, the Dems will be fine. They've been here before.

Can our military and intelligence agencies actually protect us?

I have optimistic faith in America, becuase I am choosing to view the glass as half full.

At this point, one could look at it either way.. it's a toss up.

I choose to believe that America isn't dead yet. I could be wrong. But why choose the dark side voluntarily?

I would love nothing more than to step into the time machine and emerge in the America I believed in. But I'm not sure now it ever really existed. As for 6 days from now, I don't want a bad outcome, I just don't see any alternative. But I also acknowledge the fact that there is nothing I can do to improve the outcome. So there's nothing else to do but tighten up, check on your family and comrades, and open a beer or ten on tuesday.

But, the worst part of all of this is that all that has already been done, and everything that is being discussed, are just and only "stop gap" measures.
