This article from the johns Hopkins News-Letter (Published by the Students of Johns Hopkins since 1896) on the COVID pandemic is an interesting read......it seems to support both sides of the argument about erroneous death reporting but still validates that the virus is deadly. A closer look at U.S. deaths due to COVID-19
By YANNI GU | November 22, 2020

On one side it states "The reason we have a higher number of reported COVID-19 deaths among older individuals than younger individuals is simply because every day in the U.S. older individuals die in higher numbers than younger individuals," Briand said.."

But on the other........"At the end of the day, it's still a deadly virus. And over-exaggeration or not, to a certain degree, is irrelevant," Dharmasena said. When asked whether the public should be informed about this exaggeration in death numbers, Dharmasena stated that people have a right to know the truth. However, COVID-19 should still continuously be treated as a deadly disease to safeguard the vulnerable population."

I looked around to see if it was a spoof/fake news and could find nothing.

Believe the study found no significant number of excess deaths. So, most of the people who died from this were going to die soon anyway.

Well, certainloy that is the type of thing progs would do and, I guess, commies too. Conservatives don't do that sort of thing.

I couldn't tell you about progs, but commies take care of the grey comrades.

If you have high blood pressure and Covid. The high blood pressure didn't kill you, the virus did...

I'm betting the total death tally is under by about 100,000, if not more.

There are plenty of those out there who will do what ever they can to "minimize" this COVID-19 pandemic. They are not being honest when they assert that COVID did not kill you; your "comorbidity" killed you.

Comorbidity isn't really a thing until you add Covid.

You people need to get back under your beds and leave the rest of us alone to go about our normal lives. Fact is, we are all better off with you guys hidden away, preferably forever.

The best thing about Covid is that it's absolutely kicking Tpap's ass..

He melts down about it daily on NSR- the whole thing drives him crazy

his "favorite president" got bulldozed in the election due in large part to the virus

and then of course, he dug himself into a hole with the wrongzest NSR proclamation of all time .. upon which he keeps doubling down over and over looking stupider and dotardier every time

becoming the NSR classic that will never go away

such entertainment, and he's not even in the hospital yet

Nothing wrong with surfing for 4 days. On that topic, my availability to surf will soon be on the upswing. Then I will have it all - drinking, farming and surfing. What more could a man want?

It isn't a spoof or a fake. It was an article written in the student newspaper by a Neuroscience and German student in the class at 2021 at JHU.

It was retracted by the editor for this reason
