I always liked how Bob Dole referred Bob Dole as Bob Dole.

He is a real Republican and, unfortunately, there aren't that many around.

The Republican Party has become a shadow of its former self. Yesterday's GOP at least pretended to care about working class Americans, people in need and an ideal of making tomorrow a better place than today.

Not today. Today's GOP is all about the wealthy and the elite. The corporations and protecting boards of directors and top executives. The GOP today has taken a harder right and embraces the elements that once hid in the dark corners of the party.

Bob Dole wouldn't last a minute in a primary contest today.

Dole is more akin to Obama that Trump.
