So, are you saying we are in agreement when I said, "I honestly think they just didn't know."? LOL Specifically about making the call regarding schools? How could they know? When people like you and some of the dingbats like FK and Tpig cite the government 'changing' things its purpose generally is to attempt to discredit the severity of the pandemic or to justify irresponsible of asshole behavior. It really boils down to common sense in realizing that information, guidance, and situations change based on acquired knowledge as well as regional or local spread. For the most part, regarding that specifically, it occurred exactly as one would expect in this situation and not really worth noting as a 'problem' because it isn't one. BULLSHIT! Fauci AND OTHERS have gone back and forth then back again THEN FORTH AGAIN THEN BACK YET AGAIN!!!! Sniper, FYI Measels, Mumps & Rubella (aka 'MMR' shots all my kids had) also does affect adults.. If I remember correctly Mumps is a real mofo if you are an adult..
Lots of other vaccs have shown up since my kids had theirs (I'm collecing grands at this point).. Also remember, DPT, polio, Hep B etc etc.. Think a malaria one is in the works.. Don't keep up with the required kiddie shots anymore..
The typical reason for a vaccine is to prevent the spread among civilised society of communicable or other diseases that fuck people up badly - be they spread by man, insects etc.
So happens that this one is spread by man and it's primarily spread and affects resporatory functions - for a start, but has lots of other side affects.. .
Having Chickenpox as a kid increases your chance of shingles as an adult..
Of course you can be a paranoid & irresponsible parent and skip the vaccs - & later your kids can get stuff as a kid - with more 'fun' to come as an adult..

Besides, at the time it was widely known for the non-ignorant. Regarding your attempt to refut my comment about the Trump plan, your fact check link did not do that. Trump's plan execution literally ended at the state. Even our own governor commented about that live on Wesh one of his Covid pressers. Not to mention, that was echoed across the country by state governments, red and blue alike. All Fauci clarified was that he lied to the American people with a straight face. The question is which version is the lie.
