The Mueller Report if far from 'closed'. Many Claims of innocence were made on many topics that were not investigated, or that the report was deliberately specifically 'silent' on - Lots of open doors left - still need to be investigated and reported on publically.. Different day - different sherriff.. Fitting that Garland is now in charge.. Karma,,, Andthat is just the start of barr's shenanigans.. Lots more BS followed.. With every year that goes by, the mueller report loses its sting. Barr effectively killed it with his whitewash. He knew it when he was doing it and he did it effectively. My teenager mocks me for thinking trump will live to face any consequences.

No offense JB, but I think your teen is right. Any actual consequences for an ex-president would be bad for the American "brand" and "they" all know it.

Of course historically he will be a pariah, but I don't think any ex-president has every been held accountable for actions related to the presidency.

We need a fresh report.. Mueller IS a republican and there was significant inteferance throughout the investigation - so IMO the outcome was suspicious to start with.. The report deliberately avoided addressing many critical issues - that qrump then claimed that it did - barr & other deliberatey guided Mueller away from addressing many critical issues - specificically so that qrump could claim that the report would find him 'innocent'.. Mueller saying that it didn't address these issues after the fact, didn't do shit for the truth - it only further frustrated those who knew those questions needed to be answered very clearly - not ambigiously.. Remember how long, and how many investigations happened with Hiliary in anticipaton of her running? Years before.. What was all that shit about anyway? A smear campaign - nothing more.. They were tryig to say/imply that she was more than colluding to have the ambassidor etc deliberately killed.. WTF? Really? The Dems have to play the same game this time with qrump.. just to make a point if nothing else.. qrump saying he wants to run in 2024 will, fittingly, be bringing this "second look" back on himself.. The dems are supposedly 'in control' for a short while at least, so this all needs to be done NOW - and 1000% completed well before the next ecection cycle... This will help take away credence for the qrump supporters from the critical independant voters next cycle.. Ignore doing this NOW - and risk losing in the nex cycle...

Mueller never even talked to Trump. That in itself is a burning red flag. So yes, surffsail, I agree, Trump had many more protectors than Barr.

Mueller naively thought he could ask the hard questions and the republicans would pursue the hard answers. The GOP alternates between relying on the lack of answers as proof and being indignant about why these questions even exist.

I mean, if you read the report, it documents collusion and says there is no legal definition for collusion and that there isn't enough evidence to prosecute conspiracy because of about 10 documented instances of obstruction by Individual 1. So year, clearly the GOP chose to protect a criminal rather than honor their oath to uphold the law.
