The Republicans that the Dems long for are history. What's left is the american proto-fascist party. Except the left just calls anyone who opposes moving full steam towards socialism or communism a fascist... You have no idea what "the left" is or what they call you. But the authoritarian anti-democratic trend on the right and the nearly complete takeover of the pug party is a clear sign of what's to come. Funny thing though, because I'd say the right calls anything the right wing Dems do "socialism". But their current standard most of the Pug presidents on the last century were pinkos. The 1956 Republican Party Platform was to the left of the current Democrats. Qniper denying and Tpapsmear justifying it. You two should talk. What am I trying to justify? I'm saying that history is repeating itself and you guys are like the East Germans. Where will you build your wall to keep your citizens from escaping? Maybe around Oregon? Hopefully you won't have to kill too many defectors each year. What do you call the attack on the capital and all of these voter suppression laws? Stop the Steal anyone? Cole, what do you call Antifa's attacks on Federal courthouse in Portland or the attacks on police stations around the country? The 6 months of rioting by Democrats? All the small businesses burned? I get it, the attack on the capital was bad. 5 Trump supporters died, including one unarmed girl who was shot in the neck, but had that been Democrats, the Capitol would have burned. Voter suppression laws? Which ones are you referring to? Who's vote is being suppressed and how? (I'm asking because he is an idiot and doesn't know. Georgia, Arizona, Michigan and Pennsylvania. It's the reaction to Biden winning the states. Republicans might not agree with "Stop the Steal" but they have to act like they do if they want to get reelected.

On one side, the social unrest was birthed from outrage over the treatment of Black people.
The other was from Trump's insistence that the election was stolen, even though 32 separate courts said the opposite. And then there was the riot and attempted kidnapping and murder of a governor over a fucking mask requirement. Sorry pal, but the two are apples and oranges. ------------------------- I was right. |
