Literally hundreds of kids dying needlessly because you see this as a math problem. Once again, you clearly do not have kids. You're so full of shit. The Covid virus has killed half a million people. You just basically made my point for me. Covid killed 500,000 people here and of that 500,000 only 277 were kids. That is 0.06%. You guys want to force all children to receive a vaccine that hasn't been completely vetted by the FDA for something that this group of people is not at risk. This has nothing to do with "the science". This is a result of simple-minded people who say "vaccine good. everyone must get vaccine." regardless of any additional information. Children can catch and spread COVID to parents, grandparents, and you dotards who don't believe in vaccines. Private businesses are free to make up their own rules that may be more restrictive than local ones.. They can also choose to open up partially, or not at all - or move eleswehere.. Remember "Freedom"... e.g. No shoes, no shirt, no service....
Having been vaccinated does not make you unable to get the virus at all - none of the vacc's are 100% .. Best I heard was about high / mid 90's.. some mid /low 80%.. All of them however reduce the magnitude of how badly you get affected after the jab.. in ALL cases you are 1000% better with the jab than without..
Be a fool and not listen to the science if you don't want to and take your chances - it's a free world.. But don't think that you may not have 'freedom' consequences - also affect the 'freedom' of others around you.. Some may have pre exist conditions (immune def's etc) that may put them at risk for the jab - talk to your doctor if in doubt..
Some businesses are definitely more 'petri dishes' for nurturing the virus - as the cruise industry quickly found out - and so the did the rest of us..
It will be quite a while before the cruise industry digs themself out of that 'reputation' - and fools like deathsantis telling them to not enforce masks etc may be the permanent death knell for them - and a chance that the don't want to take especially after been beaten down so badly already - quite a few of the may already be about to go belly up at this point...
We will see how things go shortly when the vacc's get fully 'licensed' and approved - and how deathsantis et al respond to the public (e.g. schools) and privete business places wanting to institute their own 'safety measures' to keep them (workers etc) and other 'users/customers etc' safe from those who have not been vaccinated..
Have a hunch we will have the SCOTUS weighing in on this issue very very shortly... Do you think they will do the traditional thing and weigh in on the side of ... wait for it... 'business'??,, WTF!!! 'Workers rights'??... Hmmm.. Complex and you can be sure that there will be pissed people on both sides regardless of what they come up with.. 'One size' decisions definitely don't 'fit all'...
