When I was in Peru two years ago, Lima was overflowing with people that fled Venezuela. This probably went over well with them.

Bolivia did very well with socialist leaders, so much so that after a brief taste of a virtual US and OAS backed coupe they voted the socialists back in, and now the right wing interim leader Jeanine Anez is under arrest for corruption.

Latin America has had enough of US corporate backed right wing terror. It's all on the record now for anyone who wants to read about it. But still the knee jerk reaction against anything that might place government in the role of improving the material conditions of the working class. Some of you guys have been well trained.

So how did the CA 'Banana Republics' concept work out? Refugees?? Hmmm... Yep, that 'experiment' didn't work in Cuba either - remember the good old Batista days etc.. and the ensuing Cuban 'refugees' ..
