The huge demand caused by rampant infection among unvaccinated people is causing the need for rationing. Nobody ever said that Regeneron isn't a good therapy. But it should be second choice to first attempting to prevent disease in the first place. Promoting the therapy over vaccination is like deciding that because there are good anti-retroviral drugs that you aren't going to bother trying to avoid HIV. The first sentence is a false statement. I don't recall any so-called progressives "blasting" the governor for offering Regeneron. It's a straw man argument to start.
What he has done is essentially discourage vaccination, and that has caused a lot of people to die who might otherwise have lived. On the bright side, most of them were stupid people who would have voted for Desantis, so it's just culling of the herd.
