Dementia Joe's approval rating is at 40% at best. Over half of Americans think he is senile. I suspect that there are quite a few dems who have no desire to go down with Dementia Joe's ship on this one. While the MSM press will celebrate and proclaim that spending the U.S. into bankruptcy is the best thing to ever happen to the country, some dems will realize that this will go down with the American public about as well as Clown Care did.

I saw that AOC called out Manchin for his numerous daily visits from Big oil and others. He cleared it up though and explained he has an open door policy. Open door means open pocket. Here's the reality though, West Virginia only voted for him because he was impersonating a Republican. If he starts voting with the democrats, he will be replaced with an actual Republican and the result will be the same.

But I don't think it's going to go down like you think. But this thing this week will probably end up like most Democratic Party performance art. The GOP is not a party of ideas. The idea of raising the debt limit while reducing revenues was a their time honored tradition. They would get the support from all the people that didn't pay taxes and lie in wait for the democrats to replace them and push through tax increases, which they would attack and get elected doing so. Now they are doing it again. They are setting the stage to argue that democrats are raising out taxes to pay for budget gaps they caused with tax cuts.
