Yeah, quite funny how that all played out. Now they are stuck with him. Trying to get a lame duck back in office 4 years later LOL what a wasted of time and money. It's like beating a dead horse that has been in the grave for 8 years.

Caving would be removing it from Netflix. He is doing standup and the more people he offends, the funnier it probably is. People need to stop being so fucking sensitive about everything.

I've always been a fan, but I thought his new show was cringe. Not because it was impolite, it just wasn't funny.
And for the record I grew up on Pryor, Murphy, Carlin, etc.

I think comedy should be edgy, but more importantly, it should be funny.

You just have to make sure that philosophy is adhered to uniformly; limited to:

- Only blacks can make jokes about blacks, and blacks can only tell jokes about blacks;

- Only whites can make jokes about whites, and whites can only tell jokes about whites ;

- Only gays can make jokes about gays, and gays can only tell jokes about gays ;

- Same for trans (and maybe they break it down male-to-female and vice-versa)

- Same for every other group and sub-group in Chappelle's list of "Alphabet People"

Either that, or wide open to all, but no double-standard just because one group has been historically more oppressed than another.

Its so bad now white people can't even use the N word, not seriously, but for jokes, like funny ones that you grew up with.

I think Tosh has destroyed all of that. Remember when the US Gov tried to censor Lenny Bruce? I do. Comedians have been at the forefront of the right to free speech.

Isolated hate crime statutes aside, comedians pretty much have that right.

The free market has the power of "Cancel Culture" and can wield it as they see fit. Problem with that is they don't wield that power uniformly.

I think the difference here was his jokes were not jokes, it was hate speech. I did not watch it so I don't know for sure. But I will not discredit people that fall within the group that he offended and vocalize about it. What I am seeing and hearing is that it was pretty bad. He was saying some harsh stuff about gender, beyond joking. I'm bummed to hear this because I like Chappelle's comedy. Does he have a right to his belief and free speech, yes. If it offends the masses, should it effect his wallet? I guess that's how it works. Choose your words wisely in this day and age. The days of Don Rickles are over. It's a new world. Adapt and overcome...

"I think" is not definitive, you moron. You need to get yourself a dictionary. I read about it various times. So that's another Fak lie.

100%. We see so many people 'against' cancel culture until they are for it.

You clearly did not watch this or any of his other specials. Go back and watch and see what he is trying to say. He has a point - basically the transgender community has asked him not to punch down. He made his point that he sees it as them punching down on him and the African-American community. But the only way to truly grasp it is to go watch.

Until you watch his specials and the show with Dave Letterman, you really have an uninformed opinion.

The only brains of shit are yours. "I think" and "I' don't know for sure" are not definitive statements. Are you an idiot, or can you not read a dictionary?

definitive
de·fin·i·tive
/d??fin?div/
Learn to pronounce
adjective
1.
(of a conclusion or agreement) done or reached decisively and with authority.
"a definitive diagnosis"

"I don't know for sure" is not with authority now is it... I am certain you are the dumbest fuckhead on here. That is a definitive statement. See the difference.

Plus a lot of articles about this are talking about it being hate speech. You haven't read a single one. Now fuck off, you dimwit.
