The SCOTUS need to really have true diversity that really represents their typical upbringing and culture, and not an outlier, is a good thing.. The court needs to represent the diversity of the country, not only lilly white culture of the powers that be.. They already wave way way to much dis-proportioned 'influence' via 'lobbying' (aka 'bribing') with their back room deals and dark money, via 'campaign contributions' etc.. Even so anyone who gets nominated for that type of position is definitely no slouch and got way way beyond high school, and as such will never truly represent their ethnic upbringing, but it's not a perfect system and that the best we can expect from it.. Needless to say they obviously also need to be very very well qualified & experienced - and open (not closed) minded.. Remember, 'justice is blind'.. Right now even our laws do not represent 'us' - all that shit needs to be put on a general ballot for everyone to vote on.. Look how long to get weed even 'medical' in Florida - and we had to get capitalism involved to pass it.. Nearly got passed when it was on the ballot, to get into the constitution, except for the usual BS misinformation propaganda campaign, it would have passed and the 'legislators' getting back room $ would not have been able to fuck with it . you can't even grow for personal use.. WTF!
