Snipe, def have to agree that it was a poor decision for them to bring up a case like this with what is definitely a STACKED JURY - which is exactly what SCOTUS really is currently.

They have never been anything more that a jury of judges, and everyone of them has preconceived notions of right and wrong - like we all do..

There definitely should be very short term limits (10 year or less) limits so that they more closely reflect the morals of the current majority of voters..

Just the fact that the senate, which is rooted in disproportional representation, has anything to do with their appointment is morally corrupt to the core... As is the president who appoints them being elected through the again disproportionate electoral college..

The voting public has not realized that what is really going on and that any current elections of the local judiciary is only a harbinger of things to come.

Having then run as non partisan makes the choice harder since you have to dig real deep as to what side they are on politically.. Literally takes lots of time.

Signs like them being (prior) members of the federalist society etc are harder to uncover - and easy to cover over.. Also their opinions and rulings..

It sounds like you are thinking that it is the job of the Supreme Court to legislate. We have a separate branch of government responsible for that. The Supreme Court is there to interpret the constitution. Abortion isn't mentioned in the constitution. It really isn't in their charter to rule on it, so they kicked it back to the states.

That would be true if the Court hadn't already established Precedence. What we see is an activist Court removing law (legislating) protecting Rights, something Republicans once opposed.

Yeah....NO!

The court has a right and an obligation to correct screwed up decisions that former SCOTUS judges made.

There are OTHER decisions that need to be visited as well!

Scotus has NO right to make a decision on ANYTHING non Constitution......like effin OBAMACARE.

Kick the decision down to the states...thats SCOTUS's job besides what they legit do.

Poor white maga women get pregnant too, so a lot of folks may end up with voters remorse on this one.

Progressives generally have the resources and mutual aid networks to get the care they need.

And make no mistake, there will be economic consequences for repressive states.

"It's not in the Constitution...or any supporting documents....."

Sorry bro, but your bullshit ain't gonna work.

"The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution granted American women the right to vote, a right known as women's suffrage, and was ratified on August 18, 1920, ending almost a century of protest." Mar 9, 2022

What is the 13 14 and 15 Amendment in simple terms?
"The 13th Amendment abolished slavery. The 14th Amendment gave citizenship to all people born in the US. The 15th Amendment gave Black Americans the right to vote."

It doesn't matter who 'wants' abortion.

What SCOTUS determined was the Constitutionality of abortion.

It's not a Federal decision/Law to make.

It's not a Constitutional issue.

It's supposed to be decided by each state.

As for the Christian answer to abortion...anyone claiming to be a Christian and supports abortion needs to check their salvation.

Anyone claiming that SCOTUS's removal of ROE V WADE bans abortion is a flat out bald faced liar!

scotus has become nothing more that a political arm (past tense) the de facto way to effectively 'legislate' 'contentious' 'laws' in the constitution that were written in cave man days where life as we know and live it - are neither logical, or applicable.

BS procedures that block or defer votes are ways to defer even discussing, far less voting on these key issues, shoving them onto the back shelf..

Surprise surprise.. It's all part of the plan; winning - by cheating of course..

Nothing than BS interpretations by a tyrannical and terroristic minority in a way to impose and force their way and control the views and values of the true majority of voters..

At the root of this problem are both of the anti-democratic 'concepts' based on dis-proportionate representation; the infamous 'electoral college' & states representation in the senate..

All of the common key 'trigger issues' do not represent the very clear and well documented views of the voters... Gun control & women's abortion rights are just 2 of many..

Attempts to limit and discourage legitimate Voters of their rights is key to control & limit the will of the majority..

The way of cowards and cheats - 'modus operandi'...

See any 'patterns' emerging here?

In an exclusive interview with America released at the beginning of this week, Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. affirmed that pro-life people "absolutely, positively" are welcome in the Democratic party and that he believes, as a Catholic, that "abortion is always wrong."

Nancy Pelosi describes herself as a 'devout' Catholic who grew up in a 'pro-life family'

All of you are being duped and manipulated.

Perhaps "duped" but, most assuredly being "manipulated" and, , , , , , the "puppet strings" are no longer made from cotton, , , , , they are now made with unbreakable carbon nanotubes.

They don't like abortion, but they agree with the woman's right to choose. Is that so difficult to comprehend?
