Will the LGBs Kick the Ts to the Curb?

Who knew? It appears that all is not well in the LGBT community. Despite the efforts of the Democrat Party, Hollywood, the liberal media, and even our children's schools to normalize so-called transgenderism, including "gender reassignment" surgery for children, LBGs - lesbians, bi-sexuals, and gays - are reportedly ready to kick the Ts - transgender "males" and "females" - to the curb.

So, let's set the stage.

Who among us would have predicted, not all that long ago, that schools would promote drag queen story hours for young children, churches would permit drag queens to teach children's Sunday School classes, parents would willingly allow their young kids to take puberty-blocking drugs, and young teens would be permitted to have irreversible, "sex change" surgery? Moreover, that a state would pass a law designating itself as a "sanctuary" state for "transgender" kids?

Every lick of this is insane, and there is a growing number of members of the gay community who are openly opposed to "trans" behavior and the impact it's having on the LGB community - but we'll get to that, in a minute.

Columnist Jarrett Stepman wrote of the aforementioned Democrat-Hollywood-media crowd, "They've suppressed any opinion or evidence that contradicts the narrative that gender-transitioning is an unalloyed good that is opposed only by bigots," in an article titled, Study Connects Jump in Youth Suicide With Transgender Treatments, Lack of Parental Consent. Stepman also wrote:

State policies that allow children to access so-called gender-affirming care without parental consent have created a significant increase in suicides, according to a new Heritage Foundation study.

The Heritage study released Monday found that 2020 saw 1.6 more suicides per 100,000 residents ages 12 to 23 in states that allow minors access to puberty blockers and other gender-reassignment procedures without parental consent. (The Daily Signal is Heritage's multimedia news organization.)

A common argument of those in favor of so-called gender-affirming care is that such medical procedures prevent suicide.

Jay Greene, a Heritage research fellow in education, found little evidence that such procedures prevent suicide. In fact, they may be fueling an increase in suicide among young people, the study finds.

Now, the LGBs.

Some in the "LGBT" sect of the Rainbow Mafia are increasingly at odds with the Ts, especially now that young kids and teens are becoming victims of a movement gone too far. Political analyst and American Thinker contributor Bill Hansmann recently wrote about a homosexual man whose video criticizing schools for teaching (indoctrinating) children about transgenderism has gone viral:

Far too many individuals in our society believe that all gay people are in favor of the LGBTQ etc. agenda, a platform which would ram many heretofore impossible beliefs down the throats of the public and force our children and grandchildren to be indoctrinated with their sick ideas. The video makes it clear that is not the case.

As Tucker Carlson reported this week, many of the finest medical institutions in the country are openly advocating and allowing both top and bottom surgeries on minor children. (For the uninitiated, top surgery would involve performing double mastectomies on young females, while bottom surgery includes male castration and female hysterectomies on teenaged youngsters.)

Esteemed medical hospitals associated with Vanderbilt University, the University of California-San Francisco, and others of equal status openly recruit children for this surgery on their websites. Why? Because, as a Vanderbilt spokesman explained in a video displayed by Carlson, the surgeries are very profitable, usually garnering a $40,000 fee.

Doctors are told, in no uncertain terms, to get with the program or not to let the door hit them in the backside as they leave.

What we're now seeing, is when the radical agenda of the transgender movement is explained in graphic, easily-understood terms, some on the left, including LGBs, are disturbed by what they're seeing and finally understanding.

For example, as noted by The Patriot Post, Manhattan Institute fellow Leor Sapir wrote:

When Florida passed its Parental Rights in Education Act, the Democratic establishment and left-of-center media environment immediately labeled it the 'Don't Say Gay' law. The reason for this was obvious: Left-of-center Americans were more likely to oppose a law that they saw as threatening the advances in gay rights, but less likely to oppose it if they understood it to restrict gender-identity instruction."

Who knew? People of moral character, including members of the gay community opposed the mutilation of children's bodies.

As RedState reported in May, HBO "Real Time" host Bill Maher - a self-avowed liberal who's far from afraid to call out the left when he sees fit - slammed "trendy" so-called "transgenderism, prompting left-wing radicals to call for his firing.

Finally, an incontinent "ex-trans" man in June sued over penis-removal surgery and predicted an avalanche of similar lawsuits to follow.

The Bottom Line

Contrary to the left's ridiculous narrative that conservative America is "homophobic," my anecdotal experiences suggest the ad hominem couldn't be further from the truth. Many if not most conservatives believe LGBs have the same fundamental right to love whomever they choose to love as the rest of us. But puberty blockers and the irreversible mutilation of young children have no place in a decent, moral society.

The latter is no longer the belief of the "straight" community, only - if it ever was.
