Makes you wonder what happened to the Jamestown 1619 folks, traded to the colonists for food, doesn't it? I'm not sure what to think about the Guasco piece. It doesn't seem to have much of a point, other than that slaves had reached our shores before 1619. I don't see how that fact lessens the impact that Blacks were traded for provisions like they were a shovel or plow? ------------------------- I was right. |
