The only war of this type that I am aware of is the pro-slaver war on blacks and other minorities. With respect to gays, are we purposely depriving them of any meaningful education to suck up to the teachers' unions? Do we call them uncle toms if they dare think for themselves? Do we purposely keep them poor so we can bribe them for votes? Do we set free hardened criminals into their neighborhoods to kill, rob, rape them? No, we don't do any of those things. Best to look after your own war rather than try to manufacture one that doesn't exist.

To each their own. It becomes a problem when you try and force your ideals onto others. No different then religious zealots.

Being Gay has everything to do with sex. Sexual attraction, the act itself...etc. It has no belonging in schools, anymore than porn does. The only thing that should be taught to children regarding sex, is the procreation/scientific aspect of it. THE REST SHOULD BE UP TO THE PARENTS.

So, your perceived "war" is nothing more then push back against radical zealots, trying to force their ideology unto people that don't want to accept it, for whatever personal reasons they may have. No different than a Jew forcing their ideology onto a Muslim. Tolerance and acceptance are two, entirely different things.

Also, and I know this will shock you, but people don't want the state teaching their children about sex, outside the procreation aspect of it. They would rather raise their children within the family, with their values, morals, and culture, versus have the State do it.

So why the war? It because you're starting it...... and it started with Gay people wanting to bastardize the concept of marriage. If they would of been cool with a "civil union" that would allow them to reap the benefits of being "married"....no big deal. But that wasn't good enough. For whatever reason, that didn't happen. But thats were the difference between "tolerance" and "acceptance" is lost on you brainwashed sheep.....However, its also another example of the elite manipulating the masses to maintain the division needed to control.
