I listen to NPR on a daily basis, and yes, they are more diverse. There are many articles that don't fit into my wheelhouse, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't exist. As far as the news coverage, it's the same as it's always been. They tell you what happened and that's about it. There isn't much opinion either way. Do they get everything right all the time? No, but then again, no one does.

The guy complaining just sounds like some butt-hurt old guy who doesn't like change.

I have to disagree. In another thread, I posted an article about progs falling apart over global warming. Indeed, they seem to fall apart over everything - Trump, covid, and an attorney making a mistake, of all things. That accords with my personal experience that progs are as insecure as they come. On the other hand, I imagine that if you polled those who know me, I would come in at 10 out of 10 on the secure question.
