WTF are you talking about? Did you read the article I linked? This isn't even a departure. Bush did it. Clinton did it. Obama did it. The only departure I see is that you didn't give a shit when the other Presidents initiated recess appointments but you are really worried about Trump doing it because he might actually make some real changes that the majority of the American people want him to make.

In addition to securing the border and getting inflation under control, the American people want Trump to ensure that what was done to him will not happen to President, Democrat or Republican, in the future. And why would they stop if they never see consequences? The difference is that Trump is going to hold people accountable for things they have actually done. He isn't going to make things up about them being Russian spies or twist and turn the statutes of limitations to fit his goals. The people in our government who went after Trump really showed what kinds of people they really are. They thought that there was no way that Trump would ever have any meaningful power ever again, so they could be as cruel as they wanted without consequence. I can't wait to see those people, who acted like they were a cat and Trump was a half-dead mouse that they were batting around, see severe consequences.

They will wonder why pollution standards have no enforcement mechanism and why pollution is no longer reported. They will wonder why they cannot sue predatory lenders, why a college education is too much money and why home ownership will never happen for them. They will see their parents complain about how their insurance doesn't cover anything and now the prices have become too high to pay. Credit cards will charge rates that used to be called usury. Private colleges like trump university will be back with private funding for students who don't understand the debt trap. Tough on crime means poor people will be prosecuted for stupid things and big white collar crime, the province of the FBI, is no longer a priority. The FBI will be headed by a person sworn to destroy it. Defund the FBI. Immigrants will be rounded up snd forced into private jails who reap huge profits from the colossal backlogs of cases. NATO will be out enemy snd Russia will be our friend as we give Taiwan to China to appease their flattering dictator. When confronted with all of Trump's failures, you will dodge the question and proclaim that you don't want to talk about politics, you're sick of politics and there's no point to it anyway. It's not high ground to pitch your newly minted neutrality, it's the last refuge of Trumper who can't admit they were taken in by a heart of fools gold.
