Like everything this administration has done, I'm not sure they thought this one all the way through. Along with this blanket-pardon, Hunter Biden loses his ability to plead the 5th and contempt of Congress becomes a crime, punishable by jail time.

Everyone receiving these pardons, for crimes they haven't been convicted of yet, should be investigated to the hilt, brought to Capitol Hill, asked to answer questions that we already know the answers to, and be given the choice of whether they want to drag their own names through the mud or perjure themselves and be given Jan-6er type sentences.

He was never charged by Biden's DOJ with anything related to being the family bag-man, while threatening Chinese officials with daddy's rage and all that. They only charged him with stupid shit, so they could try to say they had integrity or something, when anyone with half a brain knew he was full of shit. Nobody cares about him lying on a form, paying sex workers with money his daddy enabled him with, or doing drugs. We are probably going to get to the good stuff and he has nowhere to hide when asked tough questions. OK, sounds fine to me. If I were trump I'd be concerned that it brings some attention to his own family dealing in China and Ukraine, etc. But if trump wants to run some kind of pogrom on his perceived enemies list, it's par for the course now.

In all the excitement of his return to power, I wouldn't lose sight of the fact that the only reason trump wasn't found guilty in two impeachments is due to legislative jury-nullification.

Only a bunch of rogue bureaucrats who conspired to cripple a sitting President, have a sitting President removed from office under false pretenses, and have him jailed using novel legal tactics, in an effort to make him unelectable or have him removed from ballots altogether. Remind me again what those impeachments referred to....

Impeachment 1 - obstructing justice with regard to the Mueller investigation, which was shown to be a bullshit sham

Impeachment 2 - asking Zelenskyy to investigate the Bidens corruption in Ukraine, of which we have found that there was plenty

Those impeachments have been nullified by reality, facts, and history.

Impeachment 1 was "summarized" to be nothing and you bought it. The only thing that was bullshit was that Mueller left Congress to make the conclusion and follow up on their oaths to uphold the constitution. Party over country Trump MAGAts laughed at his naivete and made short work of it.
