An Australian journalist, Lauren Tomasi, was struck by police-fired projectiles during escalating protests in Los Angeles this weekend, amid broader national unrest following President Donald Trump's immigration enforcement raids.

The shooter can be seen at 17 seconds into the video, he deliberately takes aim at the journalist on camera and fires.
