ICE detains young college student who was here with legal status, and ignores judges order NOT to deport her...and deports her. Her lawyers couldn't contact her, and when they asked ICE they deleted her from the system so they couldn't find her.
She wasn't allowed phone calls.
Her parents couldn't find her or contact her or were informed about where she was.
Go to the 1:10 mark to hear her lawyer talk about the facts and events.

And neither she nor her parents knew she was being deported, and they didn't make arrangements for when she landed. When she landed in Honduras and was release she didn't know what to do.

ICE ignoring a judge's order not to deport her because they thought the judge was wrong...that is some really fked up shit.

ICE isn't polling well so Trump changes direction to help him in the polls.

"The Department of Homeland Security is amending its immigration enforcement operations by moving away from raids targeting all illegal immigrants in the U.S. and focusing more on the ones who have committed serious offenses, according to a report.

Teams under U.S. Border Patrol Commander at Large Gregory Bovino will shift their focus to specific targets, including illegal immigrants who have been convicted of serious crimes, NewsNation reported.

The change means federal agents will put a smaller emphasis on carrying out large raids that have happened at Home Depot stores and other locations, according to the outlet."

They don't even try to deescalate and find out more about him.
Of course they released him later that day.

The goal isn't to get criminals, it is to create fear by using cruelty.

The case landed in federal court last week where a Maryland District Court judge barred the government from deporting Dulce Consuelo Diaz Morales while the court considers a petition her lawyers submitted to determine whether her detention is lawful.

According to her lawyer, Victoria Slatton, Diaz Morales lived in Mexico for about 13 years but has a birth certificate from a Prince George's County hospital and immunization records from Anne Arundel County, all of which have been provided to ICE as evidence of her citizenship. The Washington Post has viewed emailed photos of those documents, including a Maryland birth certificate with the name Diaz Morales on it, but cannot verify their authenticity.

Affidavits of multiple people who were at the hospital following Diaz Morales's birth were also sent to ICE, said Slatton, whose pleas for the woman's release have gone viral on social media.

According to her lawyers, Diaz Morales moved from the U.S. to Mexico with her family in 2009 or 2010 and returned in 2023 to escape cartel violence. They said she was stopped by immigration officers when she reentered the U.S. In January, she received a removal order from the Justice Department's Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).

The order, Slatton said, holds no standing, because the agency does not have jurisdiction over U.S. citizens.

"I want to reiterate that these circumstances do not strip a U.S. citizen of her citizenship. Citizenship by birth is not lost through travel, lack of documentation, emergency reentry or any ruling by the EOIR," Slatton said. ..."

There are now soooo many vids of ICE doing things that are questionable at best, and at worst fully illegal.
It makes me sad watching many of them.
If only Trump and his PeeWee German would have stuck to actually removing real criminals and not gone after people with TPS, people who are going through the legal immigration system, people who are here undocumented for various reasons, udocumented with traffic tickets, and even United States Citizens.

Even watching the DHS vids where they seem to take delight in hurting people.
That is some fked up shit.
