Most Americans are not progs and take no satisfaction in the misery of fellow Americans. They want to stop him to prevent more suffering. Progs, on the other hand, actively wish for Americans to fail. Hence, they are happy. His voters will eventually migrate to the GOP. They are the 2025 equivalent of steel workers in the '80's. They will come to realize that progs and, especially commies, don't give a damn about them and will vote accordingly.
