It was fun while it lasted.

I saw that Trump posted this after the results started coming in:
TRUMP WASN'T ON THE BALLOT, AND SHUTDOWN, WERE THE TWO REASONS THAT REPUBLICANS LOST ELECTIONS TONIGHT

First, the Orange Julius Caesar will NEVER be on a ballot again...so I guess that means Republicans will be losing in the future.

Second, he is acknowledging that the shutdown was a bad idea for Republicans.

The GOP has turned into a cult of one personality. When that personality goes away MAGA will go the way of the moral majority, the Tea Party I, and the Tea Party II.
JD, rubio, barron, etc...don't have the grifting chops to pull off what Trump has.

Not to mention that TRump's stupid decisions, appointments, and grifting is turning voters away from the GOP.

2026 will be where we see what happens.

Now that it has been a couple of days and the numbers have come in...

Trump barely won the vote, he didn't get a majority...but did get a plurality of the votes.
All of Tuesday's key races were won by the Democrats with majority of the votes, and in some cases a huge majority of the votes.

That is what is scaring the GOP for the 2026 races.
As it should.

No, I don't believe he did. Im not normally a Conspiracy theory guy, but there's way too much data that doesn't add up. Look up Election truth Alliance on Youtube. A former Military Cybersecurity/Intelligence guy that is a statistician has some interesting data. Long story short, his theory is that there was an algorithm installed in the tabulating machines(not the voting machines), that started flipping votes from Harris to Trump once a certain number of ballots were counted by each machine. The data appears to back that up.

It was rigged.

and one thing we know FOR SURE, undebatable- TRUMP LOST BIGLY ON TUESDAY.

Yep. exactly. And somehow miraculously all swing states were also kept in the range of not requiring an automatic recount, I believe something like 60/40 for Trump.

My favorite part of this how the California republicans are being gerrymandered out of existence and very pissed about. They are the canaries in a coal mine warning of the dangers of dividing the country into very well defined red and blue states. Their cries are loud and real. I wonder why they can't hear their democrat colleagues in Texas singing the same song. Trump threatened to sue? That's like Trump threatening to drink a Diet Coke. We now have a very clear case of "what's good for the goose is good for the gander." This will get worse and ultimately the red states will Gerrymander a stronger advantage. Candidates will pick voters and voters will not be able to pick candidates. I blame the Supreme Court for this and so many other abject failures that enabled Trump to wear that crown and drop shit on his own citizens.
