It got exhausting, most annoying problem for me being a glitch with the transmitter-receivers for the programmed floodlights. I installed a partial cat-5 cable network at the last minute
.
No video yet of the color-changing floods on the flower beds, or of the waterfall.
Decking the bonsai with Christmas lights is new, largely done by an incredibly careful woman working in collaboration with the curator.
It's a relatively small light project, but high on local creativity. Those light flowers took hours of braiding strings of lights onto sticks and wires.
Rain Forest, before electric butterflies flew in.
.
The flowers change color. Red-green-blue floods
Bonsai trees decked for Christmas. Heathcote Garden is basically a fantastic bonsai gallery with a garden attached.
The French Flower Cart won't be unveiled until the 23rd, but you can sit on this flower bench.

We're working on this year's iteration. New "caterpillar tunnel," model train, better bromeliad tree, more lights, some making creative use of leftover soda bottles.
The flower bench lacked a light to make photos easier, so a floodlight will be placed.
Because of the short time from Thanksgiving to Christmas, it'll run from Thanksgiving weekend to the weekend after Christmas (before New Year), Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Here was last year's "flower market"

The things you can do with red, green, and blue spot lights with shades made of kitchen shelf liner (not my project).
