Hey man. I buckled my 5'6" cymatic today. I'm not going to repair it so it's yours if you want it. Maybe you know how to fix a buckled board. It would be a lot cheaper than buying a new or used one. Let me know if you want it, free.

Oh man, I am SO SORRY about your board!!! What a bummer! And that is SO GENEROUS of you to offer it! Thank you!!

But let me ask you this, if you could get it professionally repaired would you still ride it? Because the SciFi I'm riding now I bought used after the guy who had it last buckled it at Blacks out in Cali. I don't know if the repair changed the ride or not because I'd never ridden one before, but the repair is definitely solid and I don't think it added too much weight to the board. I'd hate for you to pass up the opportunity if you think you might still ride it after getting it professionally repaired (I know there are people locally that would do a quality job on it).

I have a backup same dimensions so that's why I'm not repairing. If I didn't have the backup I suppose I would fix it. I'm sure it will still work after repaired as long as you have someone that can do it well. Either way it's free so if you decide it's not worth it, whatever. I was gonna trash it if you don't want it.

If you're just going to trash it I would love to have it. I've got a
young friend who's been trying to develop his shaping skills the past couple of years and he's made about a dozen boards but never tackled a project like this. He's good with epoxy so I'd like to see what he can do. Thanks again!

So I'm curious...how'd it happen?

Alright. Send me a DM with contact info and and I'll send you my address. I was going down the line pretty fast and someone dropped in on me so it was either hit him pretty hard or eject over the top of the wave which caused the board to buckle.
