Might give it a whirl this weekend, Im boatless and dont feel like doing the port or inlet graveyard prowl, anyone having luck dawn or dusk at the beach? A buddy said he got a nice one in sat beach a few days ago

Not a lot of bait, but some Snook around the rocks in sat beach. Bluefish and seaweed are both pretty bad at the moment.

An old dude was getting croaker on Fishbites at 4th North the other day, so there should be some in the Satty area too. Though we have had a southeast wind and that might muck it up and bring even more weeds.

Water was pretty silty and had some sargassum and some other goopy weeds in the wash but did manage two dink snook and a ladyfish, seemed to shut down around 0700

The Tarpons were on the beach giving the glass minnows hell at Patrick the other day. They would not bite a damn thing, but they are tarpon and that's what they do.

Sometimes they wave as they roll on by. Sometimes they will eat a lady fish. I got one last year during the mullet run, after feeding most my mullet to blues and lady's I started fishing cut lady under the pods. 3 sharks later I landed a nice tarpon!
