Went out of jax on a friend of a friends boat. Getting bait was hard but ended up with a mix of cigars, grunts, and a few sardines. Ran out to about 160' of water and everyone got bit on first three drifts which ended up with 1 scamp 1 gag 2 muttons.

Anchored up and got 2 more muttons and 2 nice grovers and then either the bite stopped or we never got back on the number as we moved on anchor, drifted, reanchored and could not get anything other than AJ's probably caught 8 myself which sucked from 160 LOL.

Fish were not leader shy all snapper bit on about 6-8' 125lb mono leaders and big 8/0 hooks.

Tried downsizing when the bite slowed but still jack town only.

LOL up here they really seem to thin out past 120 once we get near the "roll down/main ledge", and almost non existent out past 140'. But the dang jacks are thick and sometimes wont hit the cutbait as much but other times just cant get past them.
