Working on turning my yard into a lush jungle barricade. I currently have a lot of fishtails and bamboo around the perimeter. On the hunt for...

Tropicana Canna Lilly
California Alocasia (Giant elephant ear, I believe)
Monstera (split-leaf)
Xanadu philodendron
Ferns
XL Verestis Mirabilis
Giant Tropical Caladium
Hawaiian Pink Ginger
Lobster claw Heliconia
Water Heliconia
Areca
Banana trees
Bird of paradise
Traveler's palm
Lady palm

The bigger the better. Feel free to text pics to 808-292-9375

Any suggestions for big leafed plants that will fill out and take up a bit of space?

Thanks in advance!

Sea Grapes for filling in large spaces, they require no care , but they drop leaves and get really, really big if left unchecked...

Not a fan. They do great on the beach, but as you said, messy.

Paddleout is your guy!

http://www.exoticatropicals.com

I have a few plants that I received from others on 2ndlight that I can share but not many that are on the list. I do have some praying hand bananas (great banana bread) and ferns, and a few heliconias. Thanks Aloha Bob, Welder Tom, and Paddleout

Yeah, the Sea Grapes I have are now nightmare tress, FPL is not too happy with our yard....how about a condo variety Mango tree (small low ht.) or a Orchid tree which are not too dirty and the purple flowers are amazing. Only thing I can Offer you is a ton of Plumeria clippings of all varieties..and maybe a rooster (need a few more weeks to determine if we got one mixed in with the latest batch of baby hens). Free Rooster to good home! A great reminder of the Sunset Beach Bath-house parking area (and the rest of the islands).

Thanks, SurfMic. I've got a mango and a ton of plumeria as well. As much as I'd love a daily reminder of HI, I'm gonna have to pass on the rooster. haha
