I have lost another Silver Bismarck to the evil palm weevil. I am going to replace it with a Screw Pine as a specimen.

Anyone know where I can get one in Central Florida?

One of my screw pines is about 20 feet tall with many side branches. If you want a big cutting come get one. That's how I started this one. Saw a 4 foot screw pine cut and on the side of the road for trash. Stupid easy to start from cutting. Stick it in the ground where ever you want it and forget about it.

you can have some screw pine cutting. I'm going to cut it back as its getting too big. Let me know. Otherwise going into the fire pit.

It's cool looking plant and slow enough grower not to get over crazy big too soon. Its near a mango that I would rather have.

I am planning to cut back my very tall screw pine. let me know if. you guys want cuttings. Never buy a screw pine as they grow super easy from cuttings. Don't even have to water them. just stick it in the ground where you want it.

I cut it down a couple days ago. The cutting may still be out in the highway.

Monday: the cuttings, a lot of them, are still at the end of the road waiting for yard trash pick up. That is how I started this one and in 15 years got to be 20 feet tall.

Yup, missed that message. When I drove by pickup had already happened.

Anyone else have any cuttings or pot grown?
