Yes, we have experience! Take the palm out and don't plant anything in its place for two years or more. Burn all the remnants of the palm. Epicsurf had the same problem a few years back and it eventually spread to his neighboring Queen palms. Conch mushroom shape things form at the base of the palm and once that is found the palm is all ready dead and in decline. Spreads easily through landscape tools.

Also, pineapple palms, aka Canary Island date palms are notoriously susceptible to this desease. they like dry Mediterreanian climate and Florida is the exact opposite of this.

Ditto -

I lost a queen ,some Dypsis lutescens and a Spindle Palm to same..... Conchs formed ,end of palm.

I will say though - with one of my smaller D.lutescens I chopped off the fungus conch along with the affected trunks and soaked the area with fungicide several different times ..... that particular plant is thriving now. It was about 8 ft tall when I chopped on it..... and it was very isolated from the rest of my palms. Exception to the rule I'm sure....

The Queen (20ft)/ BIG D.lutescens group (15ft) and Spindle (15ft)were all in the same location and transmission from one to another was obvious....

Good luck -

When it happened I felt like I had VD or something - almost ashamed to admit I had it....

I'm ok now though....lol
