The biggest problem with nuclear up to this point has been the back up diesel generators that can only go for a week. If a tsunami comes and knocks every part offline, you have a melt down. The solution for these smaller reactors is a passive cooling pond that doesn't require pumps. This seems like the solution to bring nuclear back into the solution. ------------------------- "One of the reasons why propaganda tries to get you to hate government is because it's the one existing institution in which people can participate to some extent and constrain tyrannical unaccountable power."
