Manafort got a gift. His sentence was lower than any other defendant that faced his guidelines. Your feelings about how mean a prosecutor are take the case out of the context of crime and punishment (without addressing the minimizing of tens of millions dollars hidden and laundered) and puts it into a context of an what mueller did. Mueller is such a meany and manafort is not that bad. Do You think it's wrong or do you feel it's not right? Mueller colluded with New York AG Eric Schneiderman to prosecute Manafort the way they did and prevent him from being eligible for any type of pardon. Schneiderman was forced to resign over charges of breaking one woman's jaw and assaulting three more. Miraculously, Schneiderman was never charged with any crime. He just had to resign. All reports show that the witnesses were credible but there were "legal hurdles" with charging him with anything. So, nothing seems ruthless to you about a special counsel colluding with a corrupt New York AG, who has no problems breaking a lady's jaw, to target an individual in a way that prevents that individual from receiving any kind of pardon and guarantees that he will die in prison?
