I've never liked the term liberal progressive as it doesn't portray the movement accurately at all. Democratic Socialist isn't exactly fitting either since there's nothing democratic about them. Totalitarian maybe but certainly not democratic. Bolshevik is almost a fitting term for a revolutionary group hell bent on inflicting the greatest harm possible on any and all opposition to their ideology. But that wouldn't be fair to the original Bolsheviks would it? Recalling history and how the Nazis used the socialist Red Front Fighters League to get a foot hold on political power in Germany, just before Himmler executed the Night of the Long Knives, it occurs to me that Nazi is the most fitting term for the ultra far left in this country today. Seems fair as well, since they use the term so frequently themselves, and have such a dislike for Christians and Jews.
