Starting with the new year i set out to avoid conservative news and only listen to or read progressive news sources with the intent by gaining a better understanding of the political ideology that is so popular today. Perhaps even join them rather than fight them. I figured it was past life experiences that formed my conservative opinions, and perhaps I have been wrong all along. I was enlightened so to speak and did in fact develop a deeper understanding of progressive thinking. I began to feel the rage and hostility building inside me that so characterizes progressives today. Emotions began to overwhelm me and blur the facts. It all seemed to be working. I was feeling progressive for the first time in my life. That is until today just moments ago while reading CNN trying to defend the situation in Venezuela when I had my aha moment. It was kind of scary. I concluded progressives are truly more ephed up than I could ever could have imagine. Completely devoid of common sense, historical knowledge and logical reasoning. I realized once again I could never go progressive without experiencing some kind of serious life altering brain damage.

Yes zoos, you are much better off spending your time watching people parse the word collusion.

A couple of things. Your name is Zeus. That's not by chance.
You cleared your mind and sought the new religion of a different opinion only to abandon it when you couldn't agree with everything about it 100%? Seriously. Go back to your old tribe. There's comfort in conformity.

But, then again, Progs probably agree with the following; "How was he suppose to get clothes and things he needed for school?"

That's what Trevon Johnson's sister said after he was shot and killed while breaking into a home in Liberty City.

I just watched a 5 minute Venezuelan piece on CNN and they offered no favoritism what-so-ever. Isn't that what a news source is supposed to do?

I think there are a fair amount of progressives who understand that the entire special council and the idea that Trump colluded with Russia is a joke but they hate Trump so bad that they are willing to play along because they do prefer Democrat policy over Republican policy, they will do anything to get Trump out of office for any reason, and the ends justify the means. They are still extremely pissed that someone like Trump was able to beat a seasoned politician like Hillary.

Then you have those in the Democrat/ Progressive camp who are just plain stupid. Those are all the ones who don't fall into the category I mentioned above.

Knuckleheads still don't realize a Republican assigned Republican Deputy AG initiated the investigation. Top it off you Trump idiots can never spell counsel correctly. I doubt you guys "think" much at all. Make sure you know what you are talking about before you call others stupid, stupid.

The fact that a Republican initiated the investigation, doesn't really mean shit. Plenty of Republicans also hate Trump. Up until him, there was a certain path you followed to be President. Trump didn't follow that, so now if any of them want to be President, they not only have to continue to compete with each other, but they also have to compete with people outside of their field. Not only that but they can't have someone from the outside coming in and fixing too much because it would prove how disfunctional Washington has been for decades.

Congrats on winning the spelling bee as a kid. You guys were always the most gifted socially and always the most fun to hang out with.

You're just making crap up. None of what you've said here is based on any facts. Not even the spelling bee crap. You go on hunches that are completely off base. It's why you guys fall for all that Qanon and conspiracy theory crap. If I had a dime for every time you guys continue to write false crap about Clinton and uranium, I'd be very well off.

To be clear. Mueller is not a joke. His investing is real and the people he had indicted so far are well deserving. There is a narrative here that has permeated the entire discussion with trump and it is this: if you don't like trump and you think he's incompetent crybaby sloganeering empty suit, then you are biased against him and your criticisms cannot discussed without talking about that bias first.

This is essentially an attack on the messenger in the hopes of undermining the message. It only works if you are not aware of it or you respond to the personal attack with your own defense, thereby distracting from the message. Snupid tries this all the time, usually from a pretend position of objectivity. It's condescending. It's worse if he tries to act wounded when I call him out on it.

Also, Mueller took down all the crooked Enron execs. You don't get much more anti-establishment than that.

Conspiring with a hostile foreign government to illegally influence the outcome of a US election is the most serious challenge to American government to date.

It's really hard to take these guys seriously when they: 1. Pretend it didn't happen or 2. Pretend that it's not important.

There are only two possible explanations for that. Either they lack intelligence or they are unamerican. Maybe both in a few cases.

What do you mean by this: "Conspiring with a hostile foreign government to illegally influence the outcome of a US election"

You talking about someone conspiring with Wikileaks, who conspired with Russia, to release, real, dumbass emails written by members of the DNC? If so, who and where's your evidence?

You talking about these Facebook ads or maybe the oh-so-damning Reddit posts?

It's a F'ING joke.

An "F'ING joke" is when you do not realize or care to realize that it is illegal to take hacked info gathered from Russian intelligence and use it to sway our election in the US. If team Trump conspired with Russian intelligence, which is what it is looking like especially with the Stone indictment, it is a big problem. I'm not sure why you have no problem with this. You're cool with it because Trump is your guy?

You realize that the crimes Roger Stone has been accused of all happened after the 2016 election was over, right?

"After the July 22, 2016 release of stolen DNC emails by Organization 1, a senior Trump Campaign official was directed to contact STONE about any additional releases and what other damaging information Organization 1 had regarding the Clinton Campaign."

The requests grew more specific and appeared targeted to reinforce campaign narratives, which were also being echoed by social media memes being pushed by Russian trolls. After WikiLeaks dropped another bombshell on October 7, an associate of a high-ranking Trump campaign official texted Stone saying, "Well done."

If Trump has been compromised by the Russians and he is a puppet of Putin, then why does he need to ask someone on his staff, to ask Roger Stone, to ask Wikileaks, to ask Russia, what information they had on Hillary and when it will be released? That doesn't make any sense.

On the other hand, you have Hillary, who funneled money through a law firm to pay Robert Steele, a British ex-spy who has been fired by the FBI for being an unreliable resource, to create the dossier. Althought it was unverified, it was pushed through the FISA courts to justify spying on members of the Trump campaign. THIS IS PROVEN.

That is not even close to a crime. The crimes with which Stone is charged all took place after the election, as Sniper said. And that is telling. No allegation that Stone did any colluding. You progs are out of luck again. Best settle down and wait patiently until you can go ballistic over some white guy smiling at an inveterate liar.

Who cares if it was unverified and who cares who paid for it? A Marco Rubio donor started it in the first place. It's like someone robbing your house. If the police get a tip via unverified info provided by a neighbor you hate, would it not be right for the law to go after suspects based on that lead? The lead is leading to tons of shit and lots of lying about it, all connected to, you guessed it, Russian spies.

The moral of the story is you really really wanted Clinton to be guilty of something cause you "think" and you "believe" she did without any actual legal evidence of her doing so, even after multiple investigations done by multiple organizations. You also "think" she is this devious witch that has all this money to give the FBI to keep them quiet, with absolutely no evidence besides conspiracy theory and hunches. Meanwhile you have an actual witch being revealed and you could care less because it's your boy and you wish it happened to their girl instead. So ridiculous. You don't think firms have been hired over and over to get dirt on Clinton? They couldn't find anything. It's why they worked with Russia.... SMH

Ughhh, the FISA court should definitely care about both of these.

Did Clinton funnel money through a lawfirm to pay for the dossier? Yes.
Was the dossier used as justification for FISA warrants on members of the Trump campaign? Yes.
Was the FISA judge made aware of who paid for the dossier or that it was unverified? No.
Did FBI agents discuss internally that the dossier was unverified and that could present a problem? Yes.
Yet, you think no crimes were committed by anyone during any of this? I'll be very surprised if we have heard the last of this.

Your turn. You try to succuntly connect the dots of what you think happend with Trump colluding with Russa.

If any of this was a crime they'd have at it by now. It's clear you want a conspiracy somewhere that there is not one and you are bummed because they keep finding more info leading us to Trump/Russia instead of a crime you wish happened with the way they are going about it. I'm sorry bud, you're getting bad info. You're listening to opinions from right wing hacks that don't mean anything in reality. You're basically regurgitating fish's talking points which have no bearing on reality.

How is there not a crime when you have FBI agents withholding information and misrepresenting facts to a judge in order to justify warrants to spy on the political opponent of the person financing the document being used to justify the warrant?

Yet, I'm the one looking for conspiracy theories, when I can tell you exactly what I think happened but you can't. lol WTF is going on here? People have completely lost their fucking minds.

Opinions don't make things law. Sorry, like I said, you are getting bad info. Mostly opinions...not law. Every article about the topic is opinion pieces, not actual news information with facts supporting it.

You realize you did not read the indictment, right? Otherwise you'd realize what I am talking about has nothing to do with after the 2016 election. SMH Sniper, you need to read more....

Here is the full indictment:

They would not "have it" by now if there was a crime. What they have is the lies under oath. It's not until the truth about those lies is corroborated and substantiated by objective means, like emails, data and the testimony of cooperating witnesses, can they have it. Your lack of patience does not equal a lack of evidence. It's merely proof that good cases take a good amount of time.

"Two things are clearer than ever before - an alarming number of people in trump's orbit came into contact with Russians... and a growing list of them lied about it... the question we're left with today: Why?" - @NicolleDWallace

The truth will come out, whether or not trump ever goes to jail for it. Gotti got away with a lot for a long time, so did Capone. This guy is dirty on so many fronts it's hard to say what they will eventually get him for. Conspiracy, tax evasion, money laundering, who knows.

The investigation, as they say, is "ongoing".

You all seriously crack me up. Posting on here is like poking a stick in a fire ant mound. You all come out running just looking for something to sting. It appears to make you feel good about yourselves and your deranged political opinions too, which adds to the entertainment factor. Damn you all are funny, and yes a good laugh always helps.

Dude, your shtick is quite lame. Some of the dumbest commentary I've seen on the internet. Think about it, a grown man pretending to be a Greek God that is a conservative that trolls on a local surf forum. What does this say about your mental state? You might want to go take your meds.

He's said the same things to me and 5 other people on this forum.

He's a little man with an even smaller IQ.
