Just want everyone of the kooks to know I'll be hitting up the hot local spots. Most of which I'll be there when the sun is coming up. I'm from Texas originally and we squash snakes with our boots so dont get any ideas on the waves. I'll be easy to spot, cowboy hat and denim birdwell boardshorts.

Boardwalk or OA?

I'll bring my LB. What you do is push your 7 year old kid out in front of me and then I'll wipe out. Then you can scream and threaten to brake my board over my head. I'll make sure that there's another LBer outside to witness it all. Then that witness can post a general non specific tread about pushing kids in front of people and how dangerous it is without giving away too much detail.

Then you can blow up and start ranting about how you're the one that the thread is about, and how it wasn't your fault. Then you can back peddle a little bit and sort of admit you were wrong, but nevertheless stay the course insisting that with these little waves it doesn't matter anyways if you pushed your kid in front of some one or not. You can insist that it was all my fault.

You can let everyone know that it's just Florida. We don't have waves here anyways. Why would any one care what happens out there. If it's less than head high, anything goes including this....

Sir excuse me ,can I check your local card?if you don't have one you need to leave because here in florida during the summer we fight over 2 foot sharkfest ,gutless waves!!!

Yes sir ,We take localism very serious around here, that way we can make surfing feel bigger than it's really worth!!

All while the rest of world says anytime you travel,Florida has surf lol??

If you can, try beach fishing from the paddle board while you're kiting. You can probably troll a line in and out through the line up. People will move out of your way. And without needing that dangerous paddle I don't think there'd be much hazard involved.

For all coming to help crowd out the Northjetty, make sure to turn left in the parking lot and go out at the 4th boardwalk. Don't bother with whether any one is up and riding, just take off as you see fit. If you see a few guys out there with lots of tattoos, just remember that the more tattoos they have, the bigger the pussy. Just take off on 'em.

I've found that the best trick to getting the locals to give up some juicy ones is to try really hard to not look "touristy".  I usually slap a kick pad on my soft top to ensure folks know I'm hardcore.  I also noticed that people wave happily to me when I stop to wax my board in the takeoff zone.
