Statistically it is unusual but not unheard of. In the past 20 years four years have seen 5 or 7 shark attacks. I think the average is around 4 per year. As more people flock to the beaches it's gonna go up. ------------------------- Replace turf grass with native plants that don't need irrigation and synthetic fertilizers or chemicals that can go into our waterways and ocean |

I don't recall there being 7 savage attacks in the same area in a short span of time (could be mistaken). Except in 1918 New Jersey maybe. Or Reunion maybe. Yikes.
