I'm thinking about a Doanld Takayama scorpion. I love my High performance and regular longboards but sometimes would like to toss around something the size of a shortboard(or short for me).

Does anyone have one that can give me some feedback. It looks pretty interesting, versitile(4+1) and super fun. Im thinking about one in the 6'6" range. My smallest board now is a 6'8"slug egg styled board which still has a little shortboard feel but i'm thinking about something new.

Thanks, Alex

You won't be disappointed, all of Donald's shapes work! Ricky should have a few for you to check out, http://www.rickycarrollsurfboards.com/takshowroom.html

My neighbor has one, not sure fo the size but she got it from RC.  It's a really nice board.  Seems to handle well in all kinds of conditions.

It's a good alternative for the bigger guy wanting to ride something shorter, or for someone who regularly rides a LB, but wants something for the juice. (tail is very pulled in but plenty of foam forward)  I know Surf Station has sold a bunch of them.

You'd probably dig it.
