TunnelVision Posts: 1145 Joined Forum: 10/02/2003	It used to be, back in the 60s, 70s and 80s, that surfing was very strongly correlated with drug use for teenagers and adults. I felt that this somewhat changed in the 90s, and more so in the 00's. Do you think that has changed? If you have kids, do you worry that they'll fall in with the wrong crowd if they choose surfing as their main hobby/sport? My parents used to worry about this. I was no saint, but was never really "addicted" to any substances either (stayed away from highly addicitve substances). Do young surfers of today's generation tend to become burnouts?
