without all the humor replies, does anyone know what happened to the .5% tax that was voted in with the last election that was supposed to go to cleaning up waterways? They were doing muck removal. ------------------------- I was right. |

A good portion of the 1st tax went to Space Coast United's split with USSSA to resurface the complex in Viera with the latest turf on the planet (to use a Pottzizm). I think the muck removal is still in the science phase being spoke to and receving alternate ways of doing it. I don't think funds have yet been allocated from wherever yet. They de-mucked the Cocoa Beach canals and several places slightly farther south. I played on the turf a few weeks ago, that will be my one and only time. ------------------------- I was right.
