Will the wave caster's forecast be accurate, and if so which day will be better? Thursday Northeast at 6 feet (head to overhead) with Northeast 10-15 knots (Semi Choppy) winds. Friday Northeast at 4 feet (Rib to Chest high) with South West 5-15 knots (Semi Glass) winds.

I believe Thursday morning will be the better.

Wave energy peaking in the morning (Surf-Forecast & Surfline) wind possibly a bit less nasty in the afternoon. Wave periods running about 10 sec

The swell predictions always seem to be a day late.

An Indian River park with a small parking lot was amenable to short rides 6pm. I'm annoyed at not having brought the camera.

It was big enough in Cocoa beach for the paddle to be a pain in the keister. The interval was so tight you could almost duck-dive two waves at once. That said, the swell angle was good and gave up some long lefts. Light winds in the AM might make for a good time.

We had big surf in Palm beach but it was a challenging wave to catch. On the outside, sets were well overhead but hard to catch and even harder to connect through to the inside. The inside was heavy but smaller and the sets would sweep you so many alternated between both and never really got either, which was my story. When I finally gave up and went in, I got a bomb against the grain right that was going great until it sucked up on the inside and pitched as a double up and I was lucky to have escaped injury and a snapped board. My total was five waves.

A side wind is giving it an unappealing texture.

Absolute blast this morning on the log. Head high and fat but that was no problem on the log. It was high tide early and waning but what a good time.
