How Russia Became the Leader of the Global Christian Right

I'm genuinely curious whether this underlies ambiguity of the GOP's attitude toward Russian interference, etc.

If these people want to align with Russia it will require authoritarian power. The Constitution will be in the trash can because WASPs are a shrinking demographic.

I'm sure some are privately thinking this way, but how many?
