Obviously. The Cape Hatteras area has been battered in recent years, and communities like Kill Devil Hills suffered serious flooding, so this is coming with little time for recovery. About the only good news is the new bridge over Oregon Inlet. I'm left suspecting that it may outlive the road from there to Buxton.
