It's an arms race to pay 17 and 18 year olds millions of dollars to play on their team. Florida is trying to get ahead of Bama, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas etc. I can not imagine the 20 million dollar a year payroll tax being passed on to the students. Even harder to imagine is a newly minted 18 year old millionaire making a 9:30 intro to composition followed by a finite math class.
