ww Posts: 16338 Joined Forum: 08/17/2007	A professional video for ordinary beachgoers from where the water is chilly to outright cold, sunny weather is sometimes in short supply at the coast, and many locals are pretty expert at beaches. They don't get tourists from the inland South and unlike Florida, they have very few beach drownings. SoCal does get some great rips for videos. The Panhandle can have some very visible ones that are also photogenic, but the Atlantic coast tends toward flash rips that don't look like much and never seem to show up to help you get out.
