However, it is a very good idea to spend almost all the money on the micpre slash interface. Cheap ones suck and good ones are really required to get pro quality sound.

I think the intrigue here is that there are no longer industry gatekeepers and commercial homogenizers that dictate what we will all hear. That's not entirely true but the times have changed. I looked up 18 year old Billie Eilish's net worth and it's at about 8 million. I can't imagine how a girl and her brother were able to do so much with so little and collect four Grammys as the new guard so independently. It's progress.

The two are from very different parts of our pop planet but they are not really competing. They both have their niche. Dua Lipa was inevitable and Billie Eilish was the next chapter.
