Biden approval rating drops below 40% for the first time in an average of major polls

Approval of President Biden's performance in the White House continues to weaken as the administration works to deal with the Ukraine border conflict, rising inflation, the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and chaos at the Mexican border.

For the first time since taking office, Biden's approval rating - based on an accumulation of polling data - fell below 40%. A Real Clear Politics average of all the most recent national surveys measuring Biden's standing put the president's approval at 39% and his disapproval at 54%.

Biden has also found himself at the center of a Russia-Ukraine border conflict in Europe. Last month, Biden predicted Russian President Vladimir Putin would advance into Ukraine, saying, "My guess is he will move in. He has to do something."

Biden continues to take heat from Americans over rising gas prices, leading his own party to introduce a proposal to temporarily suspend the federal gas tax in order to help blunt the financial pain of surging prices at the pump.

Fox News reached out to the White House in an effort to see what factors may have contributed to Biden's sinking average polling numbers but did not receive an immediate response.

The only good thing about inflation is that is makes it much more likely the R's will have a great November. Go inflation.

Its too bad we can't have an honest discussion about what an absolute disaster this administration is. Does anyone actually think Biden is calling any shots? What the Dems are doing to him, is borderline elderly abuse.

Curious if anyone is paying attention to any of the confirmation hearings for Biden's appointees. If you are, it would be no secret the Dems have been hijacked by extreme left wing radicals, and they way his appointees either blatantly refuse to answer straight forward questions, squirm around their precedent of racial and political bias, and/or obvious waste of our tax dollars as kick backs (not to say the Rs aren't guilty of this latter part, but the not at this scale) is sickening.

To anyone actually paying attention, if should become obvious we are at war. War from within.

It didn't happen for 4 years of Trump's administration with the R's, why would you expect it during Biden's with the D's?

All we heard for the past years was propaganda/narrative about his "scandals" which most later turned out to be false/out of context. Rarely any mention of policies.

Believe it or not, most people are smart enough to know that policies matter, not personality.(Well, those that matured from high school mind set) Most of you fools had your emotional strings pulled and developed seething hatred over anything but policy. .

Afghanistan not in shambles (well...not compared to now)
Border was getting secured
Gas prices lowest they've been in a while
Stock market doing awesome
Shelves fully stocked
Prices of commons good sustainable
Unemployment down
Working towards energy independence

Compare all that shit to now, after 1yr of Biden's administration. Can you tell me one policy being enacted to address any of the issues above? Seems like his policies are just driving us further down the drain. At lease we'll have free crack pipes!
