Funny how many of the people here that are so quick to jump on the Kamala train were pushing for Newsome and others just a week or two ago.

Why do you think that is??? If she is VP and she is such a strong candidate, then why was any other name ever mentioned? Why was there so much talk about how Democrats might be able to get Kamala out of the way? Why would they want her out of the way if she is as strong as they are saying she is now? People were talking about her just a week or two ago, like she was a problem.

They were talking like that because she isn't a strong candidate. She isn't likable. She doesn't have a good record. Her approval has been the lowest VP approval in recorded history. Many of the qualified candidates for VP refuse to join her on this ticket because they think it will tank their chances in 2028. Many of the people here will jump up and down and enthusiastically vote for whomever the DNC oligarchs tell you to vote for. Can Harris win over the undecided and independent voters? We will see. I don't think her record and cackling will play any better on the national stage than it did in 2020.

Harris will probably be the Dem presidential candidate and the TrumpDavidians are trying to figure out how to spin her, name call her, and bring up her weak points without exposing their own to a pointed retort.

Say what you want, but she is quick, she is factually accurate (or at least a hell of a lot more accurate than Trump..not hard to do, right?), and she ain't scared of the Orange Jesus.

What makes you think Trump is worried about facing her on a debate stage? Trump has earned the right to be on that stage by facing his opponents and beating them. He debated them and he has been tirelessly campaigning. He allowed Biden's team to dictate the terms of the last debate even though the terms didn't work in his favor. Trump has earned the right to be on that stage and dictate some of the terms of a debate if Harris wants to prove that she deserves to be there.

Harris repeatedly lied about Kavanaugh and used anonymous sources to try to ruin him. When Tara Reade accused Biden of fingering her against her will, Harris believed her when she was running against Biden but then tried to discredit Reade, when she thought it didn't suit her purposes.
