The explanation is simple.....he is draining the swamp. You have to first admit its there to begin with, to be able to understand that.

For example, as mentioned in another thread, the current Secretary of Defense is a lobbyist, that for some reason gave up a 7 figure salary from being on the board of Raytheon, to serve in this position. (a position that enriches his former employer when we are at war). Weird that we've also gotten involved in two conflicts overseas since then, too, huh? Yet, not a word from you guys?

Now we have an outsider, with history of caring for the vets, taking this position, free from any finacial ties to any companies that will profit off of war.....and you need an explanation as to why that may be a good thing?
