darn stuff seems to be everywhere palms,crotons are the worse

Crotons probably have that scale on it.

Gotta use a systemic pesticide and hit it every few months.

I've used my pressure washer to clean palm trunks from mold. Don't use high psi.

vegetable oil and baby shampoo (as a spreader/sticker) in a gallon of water in a sprayer. Spray weekly until gone. The fungus is feeding on the secretions from the aphids or scale. Limit pesticides. I very, very seldom need to use them. They should be a last resort.

have u guys heard about useing club soda to dry it up
