All's calm before the storm! It would be nice if that secondary low between us and Bermuda can get to gale force. Too weak right now.
Models have been bouncing around the past few days. On and off again hurricanes showing next week. Exciting times! I'd recommend preparing your home and yard now before the brunt of storm season kicks in. Look around the house. Any trees bouncing off the roof? Is your water drainage away from the house and no obstacles in the drainage routes? Etc etc. Those are the things that are tough to do when a storm is rapidly approaching. -- my comments Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 PM EDT Wed Aug 6 2025 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of America: Active Systems: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Dexter, located over the north-central Atlantic Ocean. 1.
